Nighttown

I absolutely LOVE Nighttown. I have attended several Jazz Performance. The location is intimate so you can be up close and personal with the performers and the sound is clear. The food is excellent, I have enjoyed the Ribeye, Lobster Bisque, Onion Soup and Calamary Appetizer along with a few other Great meals. I truly enjoy each visit and anxiously await the next.

Tight space but it gives you an opportunity to mingle with other guests. Food is phenomenal and so are the live bands! Cant wait to go back.

My husband and I had a wonderful date night.

Was there about a week ago for a carry out order recommended the lobster pot pie truly my favorite my friend and myself were very disappointed for 25 they gave us a very small container barely enough for one she loved the lobster pit pie but we both were very disappointed in the portion size we received hopefully they were just out of the usual size container the pie was very good even she had to admit

Always a great meal;- brunch, lunch, dinner.Fabulous entertainment.Impeccable service.Love omlets for brunch, fish & shrimp for dinner.For well over 30 years, never a bad meal in restaurant, theater, outdoor or covered patio.I always take out-of-town guests there!!!

I had such a great time. Went with my mom friend and her two littles for Sunday brunch. They don't have a kids menu but they do have high chairs! Mimosa were perfect. Be prepared to spend a little cash though. $30 just for my self but the food was definitely worth the money!! I had the omelette. 10/10 would recommend.

The ambiance is nice, although I could see it feeling crowded when busy. I had the caprice chicken, which was good. My fiance had a burger which was strictly "meh." You could easily hear the jazz band throughout the restaurant but it was not disruptive. They were not impressive that night, however. Overall a nice night but not quite worth the money.

I really enjoyed this place but it is a expensive.

Great early bird specials. Trout and hanger steak were excellent. Happy hour until 7 weekdays at the bar. Saw the Apollo's Fire Baroque musicians for their holiday performance and couldn't have enjoyed them more. A Cleveland Gem!

The place was nice. The staff was wonderful and the service was great

Had the lobster pot pie and clam chowder on the side. Despite the prices on the menu, I was thoroughly impressed with the taste of the food. For any tourists, I would strongly recommend this. Blew my mind.

Great menu and fantastic music...what's not to like?!

Stopped in for a light supper tonight because it's Thursday. Best clam chowder in Cleveland and a really good cheese and charcuterie board. Loved it! Back here next time for sure!

Monday night rib special. Unbelievably delicious. Worthy acts come through here and the ambience is great.

My friend and I read all of Les Roberts' books where this is the go-to neighborhood restaurant for his main character, Milan Jacovich. It was a long holiday weekend and we decided to do something outside our neighborhood. We were not disappointed! I had the Famous Dublin Lawyer and my friend had the Bangers and Mash. Both were excellent. We will make the trek to the other side of town more frequently now.

Great service! The Dublin Lawyer was amazing and couldn't be any better....thank you! I looked like an Irish Daigo though...my bad....

Always great food and great service. The only reason I give 4/5 is due to the change in lighting in the bar room dining area. Unfortunately, the cozy, warm lighting was replaced by harsh, white hanging lamps. Sadly, this has ruined the previously cozy and inviting feel of this room. If there’s anyway to change it back, I would more likely return to this otherwise excellent restaurant in Cleveland Hts.

I was seated so close to Alex Bugnon I could have played the piano for him.. Food was delicious.. Ambience was sexy although I was solo.. Great time!!

Nice music. Very good burger. Service was decent too. 20% is added automatically, fyi. Wish they would add a rule about NOT pounding on the tables, i was seated across from a man who really got into the music and BANGED LOUD and HARD on the table for the entire show.

Great food, great atmosphere , great fun!

I love the food and atmosphere here, and was really disappointed when my waitress brought a straw for me with her hands, and put the straw into my class of water. I looked shocked, and she asked if I had a problem with that. She told me that that was the only way to bring them out. I let her know that I was not going to drink that water, that I knew they had napkins there, if nothing else, for bring straws to customers. She brought back another glass of water, with the straw in a short glass with a napkin inside, like she should/could have done, at first.I have never been to any restaurant where the waiter/waitress takes their hand, with their fingers on the top, and inserts the straw, for a customer. With all the diseases, and hand washing problems in this world, that was disgusting! (And, I know she knew better!)

Went for a bridal shower. Room ok. Lots of bees. Waitress didn’t wash her hands...I couldn’t eat or drink anything she brought out and didn’t want to make a seen for the bride.

The covered patio was not the best location for a 50th reunion gathering on a hot, muggy, evening with a torrential downpour. The furniture was more suited for dining rather than allowing the easy mingling of a group of people that had not been together in several decades. The bar was hard to access and the service was sometimes slow. I assume they only allowed cash in order to expedite service. However, it seemed the bar staff seemed preoccupied with the cash register versus providing service. Since the average age of the attendees was approximately 68 years old, it did not readily accommodate the mobility challenged.

Food, service, and music always great. Its an old warren of rooms, you might have to go through the kitchen to get to the bathroom, but that is part of its charm! Vegan options, lots of variety, and classic pub food well done: I love the bangers and mash.

Great show, good drink, the James Joyce. Thanks to the Dave Thomas Trio for a memorable night out! Nighttown is a must visit for live jazz in an intimate setting. A Cleveland treasure

Great show and food. Surprised that they automatically added 20% gratuity to bill. I would have done so myself. My party was just two people. We had to sit with a "group" because of crowd capacity.

The live piano & singing were lovely ❤️ will return.

Came for dinner and to see Forecast. Excellent show. The food did not disappoint. The staff was friendly and fast despite how packed the place was. Would definitely come back for another show or even just dinner.

Great venue with wonderful history and great staff. Atmosphere and posters are priceless. Food is familiar and comfortable but is only good. If only the food and drinks were brought up a notch it would be both historic and excellent.

Such a great place! A bit upscale but exactly what I was looking for when I wanted a celebratory meal. The filet mignon was prepared perfectly, and the cheesecake was rich and delicious. They also had a fridge full of craft beers to choose from, so I would definitely recommend that. Not to mention the exceptional service and friendliness of the staff

For decades, this has been the place in Northeast Ohio to Hear jazz and related music. The music is always great and whoever picks the artist really knows what they're doing. Surprisingly, there's a good menu with tasty food and a full bar at fair prices.

Definitely nice and cozy. Small restaurant but pretty great. Only 4 starts because of the size. The food was phenomenal. Ordered the crab cake which was Devine and the Chicken salad.

Loved!!! Outstanding live show of Jakie Warren and Sammy De Leon among other musicians. Excellent Latin music players. We enjoyed a lot, almost 4 hours there. Food was delicious and service was very good. We recommend this place in full.

Nighttown restaurant is one of my favorite restaurants

This place is amazing, we come every year. I would give it 5 stars but we went to a dance party and it was awful. The DJ played the same song twice within the first 30 min. Thus is not the type of dance party that costs $10, it's the type of dance party that should be free. The DJ legit told us that he doesn't understand how to work the microphone; as a laymen, I could do better. ( so could you for $10 )
